PAMPERED HANDS NAIL SPA
Rating: 8
Attention to detail, or should I say attention to cuticle, is key when getting a good manicure.
A bit overwhelming with its staff dressed in pink and mannequin hands on the borders of the salon, PAMPERED HANDS is an excellent choice for a manicure when one has some time to spare. This salon specializes in nail art and acrylics, but is great for the weekly mani-pedi. No appointment is needed, but service is faster with one. The nail technicians at Pampered Hands spend time on each nail, pushing and cutting your cuticles to perfection and painting each nail as if it were going to be displayed in the Sistine Chapel.
Spa chairs are available, however for those of you with sanitary concerns, the foot bowls don’t have plastic bags or liners with them. The technicians clean each chair after their clients but just to play it safe, I’d ask them to clean it again in front of you. Overall, Pampered Nails is a very clean salon, which is often times hard to find.
A downside to this gem of a salon is the parking situation. Pampered Nails has valet in the back for $2, but as it is a shared lot, it is often full. Street parking is also a bit tough on the weekends but manageable.
NailReview Insider Tip: Bring cash. The salon only takes credit card on your first visit, and the ATM costs 3$.
Technician Recommendations: Sen, Amy
